How to create Wallpaper in Adobe Illustrator?

You can create your own customized Wallpaper in Adobe Illustrator. You can convert any of your artwork into wallpaper.

Now no need to search for wallpapers on internet and download wallpapers from different sites. Just launch your Adobe Illustrator and create your own Customized Wallpaper.

Step 1

Launch Adobe Illustrator and click on Create Document. New Document dialogue box will appear when you will click on Create Document. Presets documents are available in the New Document dialogue box. Click on Mobile to select the preset black document.

Select the preset document and click on Create to create the artboard.

Step 2

Now select the Rectangle Tool and create a background of the size same as the size of artboard.

Fill the background with a gradient or any color of your choice.

Step 3

Now lock the background by selecting the background with the help of Selection Tool and then press Ctrl + 2.

Alternatively, you can select the background and click on Object in the Menu Bar and place the cursor on Lock and select Selection.

After locking the background now draw an artwork of your own choice. As you care creating customized Wallpaper so the artwork must be of your choice.
